A&E to air behind the scenes look at We Are Marshall
A&E television will air a behind the scenes look at the making of “We Are Marshall.”
The movie that tells the tragic story of the 75 people who died in a 1970 plane crash that killed the Marshall University football team and several community members and the rebuilding year for the football program that followed.
Stars Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox recount the crash and how the people of Huntington came together to cope with the disaster. The program includes interviews with coaches and players who missed the plane that fateful night, as well as with the families and friends of those who died.
It is scheduled to premiere at 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Dec. 21.
